Devin's big trip to California

Devin got to go to California to see his first UCLA game. Lucky him!

My cousins took him in and drove him all around. Hollywood Blvd.

Venice Beach, he saw a lot of different things! Hmmm...

Devin got to see so many cousins that I haven't seen for years! Stacy, my pilot cousin, and Ipo. I think these guys got all the brains in the family.

Ward Campout!

On our way there we had construction we had to wait for, so the girls were having a little fun!

The kids can't wait to get to the lake! We had so much with the Flemmings!

Devin tried to show his eating skill, but got showed up by our neighbor Mason. Way to go! Younger, smaller and apparently a little more skill in the eating department! Maybe next year Devin.

Just haning out with Jillian Meyer why everyone else was in the water. Realized that Dan and I are at the age where are kids don't need us to help them, rather they were out playing and we just hung out on the beach.

Swimming lessons went fabulous this summer. We had so many great kids that learned a lot! Here's Jenna in action, teaching the students there safety tip of the day!

Morgan had a great idea to take all the seeds in the cantaloupe and plant them....so she did. Here are her rewards, a lot of cantaloupe.

She watered them all summer, and they grew and grew all 100 plants of them.... Although we went out of town and it got really cold and froze. Shucks!

Garden was Yummy!

Our garden was fabulous, we had so much corn we had to keep delivering to the neighbors and friends. Lots and lots of yummy salsa and tomatoes! A great first garden doing a lot of things different next year! We lost some at the end because we were out of town for a wedding and everything froze! The millions of cantelope that Morgan planted were ruined due to the freeze too; it was very sad.

Garden update!

Can you say "tomatoes"? I think we went a little crazy, since Dan is the only one who eats them! Our neighbor is going to can salsa, or help me learn not sure, but that will use up only a few...sheesh! Might have to put the kids on the corner selling them!

Jenna is playing with our little friend, Canyon. Our good friends the Copenhavers have just adopted this little guy. Although while they were here visiting he ended up in the hospital for 3 days. Not the vacation they thought they were going to have! But he's all better, had an infections in his neck. Strange, but glad they took him in!

Yes, he needed a drink thought I would share! Just out of the hospital Canyon was feeling great, took a little dip in the pool and now having a refreshing drink. (JK it's empty!)

I call this guy my "jasian" brother. Roger wild and crazy guy! Have to be nice he might post yucky pictures of moi!

Las Vegas!

I got invited go to Las Vegas and help Apo. I jumped on the chance, since I needed a break. A pretty stressful semester! So off we went with mom and dad. They were going to a wedding of one of my dad's cousin's sons. My 3 cousin, Mark.

Here is my dad with all of his cute cousins. The only guy! Too cute. These cousins live in Hawaii and all came over for the big wedding.

Mom, dad, Apo, Mark, Emma (in yellow) and Meilani. It was fun seeing everyone again. Had fun watching grandma win money, and watch mine go. :) Glad she wins, because she always shares, but she stopped sharing when I kept losing.

Mom and I took a few hours to walk around. We of course had to go to the M&M store and Coca Cola store!

We even went to a show, Lion King! It was my first time for this show, it was fabulous!! I was amazed at the costumes, and staging! I would highly recommend this to anyone!!

Dad had to get another ticket so he had to sit behind us a few rows! Poor guy. Good thing though because the little family sitting next to them packed up and was headed out at intermission. He had to tell them that there was more to come. Very funny, especially because this was the second time they have seen this show! They missed the whole second half the first time they saw it!!
