Garden update!

Can you say "tomatoes"? I think we went a little crazy, since Dan is the only one who eats them! Our neighbor is going to can salsa, or help me learn not sure, but that will use up only a few...sheesh! Might have to put the kids on the corner selling them!

Dan is working so hard on the garden and it shows!

Can you say, "YUM!"Our first harvest! So exciting it was like christmas for Morgan and I as we went out and searched the garden!!

Jenna is playing with our little friend, Canyon. Our good friends the Copenhavers have just adopted this little guy. Although while they were here visiting he ended up in the hospital for 3 days. Not the vacation they thought they were going to have! But he's all better, had an infections in his neck. Strange, but glad they took him in!

Yes, he needed a drink thought I would share! Just out of the hospital Canyon was feeling great, took a little dip in the pool and now having a refreshing drink. (JK it's empty!)

I call this guy my "jasian" brother. Roger wild and crazy guy! Have to be nice he might post yucky pictures of moi!

Las Vegas!

I got invited go to Las Vegas and help Apo. I jumped on the chance, since I needed a break. A pretty stressful semester! So off we went with mom and dad. They were going to a wedding of one of my dad's cousin's sons. My 3 cousin, Mark.

Here is my dad with all of his cute cousins. The only guy! Too cute. These cousins live in Hawaii and all came over for the big wedding.

Mom, dad, Apo, Mark, Emma (in yellow) and Meilani. It was fun seeing everyone again. Had fun watching grandma win money, and watch mine go. :) Glad she wins, because she always shares, but she stopped sharing when I kept losing.

Mom and I took a few hours to walk around. We of course had to go to the M&M store and Coca Cola store!

We even went to a show, Lion King! It was my first time for this show, it was fabulous!! I was amazed at the costumes, and staging! I would highly recommend this to anyone!!

Dad had to get another ticket so he had to sit behind us a few rows! Poor guy. Good thing though because the little family sitting next to them packed up and was headed out at intermission. He had to tell them that there was more to come. Very funny, especially because this was the second time they have seen this show! They missed the whole second half the first time they saw it!!

Happy 4th of July!

It finally cooled off, my parents taking it easy with the Kohlers and Apo. What a great night!

Saige Ako and her parents (Lily and Chauncy) came for the bbq. Devin had a little competition with the biggest splash! Don't mess with the Local guys!

Always fun to have Apo, she sure loves to watch her great-grand kids swim. They in turn love to visit with her!

Old and new friends help us celebrate! Mom is talking with Roman Burk, we grew up together and who knew he would end up being my neighbor! Great neighbors they are!

Good thing for holidays, the only time we get to see everyone! Lorie, Toni, Raquel shooting the breeze with Dan. Whew was it hot!

Summer Fun!

Our night at The Lion King broadway show. A great way to end my weekend in Vegas! We went with all of my dad's cousins. We had to buy an extra ticket so dad had to sit behind us a couple rows! What a guy! The show was AMAZING!!!

Grandpa Hollowell, and Grandma Ereaux came through on their way to graduations in Oregon. It is always fun to have them here!
