Hello Summer!

Finally getting a little look at spring weather. I am finally getting the garden I've wanted since we've moved into this house........except well, Dan has a hard time doing anything small. So yes here is the beginnings of our garden. YIKES!! Kids aren't too excited they know what comes with this. Hopefully we can tackle this summer project. So far we have potatoes and onions. I should have said yes to the neighborhood garden at Michelle's house!! What was I thinking?????

Oregon trip for Easter

For Easter we went to Oregon for our nephew who was getting ready for his mission. Dan and I got to go to the temple with him. He is going to Thailand, we are so excited for him. It was a packed weekend, go to the temple, visit my college roomate Kelli, her husband and her adorable Ronan! The kids babysat while we all went to the temple. Got to participate in the annual Easter egg party that Mary has that we haven't been to for years! Went to an Easter program and listened to my brother-in-law Lonnie sing, wow is all I can say! It was a great time. I don't have a camera so we didn't get any pics. Brittnee my neice had a baby shower as well, so we got to see the Hammond family, all little mommies now. How time flies! And of course we slipped in a scrabble game with my brother in law, Christopher. Found out the Oregon and Washington crew are Scrabble scholars, learned a lot!

Trip to Utah

Li Wen can cross off another state he has been to. We took him to go see BYU, the temple and of course do a little prom dress shopping for Jenna.

Kids at the Convention Center, Morgan is in there she blends in on the 3rd level. I had a great time with the kids, even though we were cramped driving there and back they all got along. Phew! Barely made it back, the wind was blowing so hard that our gas was getting guzzled by the minute! We rolled into Mtn. Home on fumes. :) Had to call Dan and put him on alert to come help us, but luckily he didn't have to come!
We stayed with the Copenhavers. Jenna and Capri found their dresses together. Roger was going to take the boys to a Jazz game, but couldn't get tickets, so instead they had some man time down at the Sports Bar watching the game. While the girls and little Canyon stayed home and watched movies.

li Wen wins "first one in the pool!" prize. In March, a trade he dives in 4 a quarter at the bottom of the pool-Dan does his dishes....Li got it on the 1st try!

Fashion Show "Beautifully Modest"

Jenna wore a Prom dress, which of course matched her perfect. Everyone had to tell her it was a perfect fit, perfect color...."your mom has to get this for you!" Lovely. Well for these prices she is definitely going to have to pay half. Yikes! She was beautiful!

Morgan's class modeled "Sunday Wear." They looked fabulous and they all had a great time modeling! Quite the characters!
