My handsome son. He's growing up too fast. His first dance. He went with a group of friends, none of them can drive so their mothers drove them. It was girl's ask boys. They ate at one of the girl's home and then went to the dance. Luckily her mom was on the same page as me and he got home before 11:00.
Time to say farewell to our new friends! They left before the closing ceremonies, so we ran to the airport to say good bye! They were pleasantly surprised!

Jenna completed her YW project! A lot of work but she did a fabulous job and the people of Kazakhstan loved the Hoe Down and the Welcome sacks she made! Way to go Jenna!
Before the closing ceremonies. We were just hanging around. I am so proud of my two kid-o's for sacrificed "hanging out" with their friends to come hang out with me! Next time Morgan will be old enough to come as well!
Closing ceremonies, the "after" party. Jenna's friends Erin and McKenzie came to watch and got to meet some of our Kazakhstan friends! What a fun night! For volunteering we all got a blue jacket, after that night we all went home with a different jacket, one from Kazakhstan(McKenzie is wearing it) and one from Mexico. The athletes like to trade and take things home that are different. 
Before Li Wen's surgery we asked our friend to give him a blessing of comfort because he was soooooo nervous! It was sort of last minute which explains Cole's attire, he was at work and met us at the seminary building. We felt it important that it was in his native language so he could completely understand. So Cole, who went to Taiwan on his mission, gave him a wonderful blessing. On the way to the surgery center Li Wen said when he opened his eyes he felt good. Yes, I had to get a tissue.

The blonde lady is the Head of the Kazakhstan Delegation. Next to her is the interpretor, she is actually from Moscow, but is a nurse in Boston. She took two weeks off from work to come volunteer at the games. Amazing! 
One of the girls from our team. I can't remember her name, but she loved to give hugs and take pictures! We would take pictures and then show her right after, every time. Jenna would let her take pictures with her camera, it was so cute! I am a definite proud momma after this weekend!

Bowling was a riot, I think this was their first time bowling. We did not have an interpretor there so we couldn't ask them questions, or get real clear answers. But it was fun regardless! 
What's a visit to Boise, with out a stop at BSU! Devin played a little football with some of the boys. They loved Devin!

Jenna giving her first interview ever with Channel 2. She made "Welcome" sacks for all 48 delegates from Kazakhstan, and planned a Hoe Down. We had line dancing, bull riding, country music and yummy food! Well done Jenna!
